On Wednesday Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT), Aberdeen FC  & Sodexo hosted a Christmas Lunch with over 30 of the Technogym participants. The event was funded through the SPFL Trust’s ‘Festive Friends’ initiative which clubs from all across Scotland benefitted from.

Technogym involves gym equipment designed for over 65s using hydraulic resistance machines which can aid and assist physical activity. AFCCT currently run four 1- hour long Technogym sessions every Wednesday, engaging with over 40 people per week.

Technogym is part of AFCCT’s ‘Dementia Friendly Communities’ programme.

The group all enjoyed a Christmas lunch at Pittodrie stadium with festive games and Christmas music followed by a poem recital by a member of the group. Below is just a selection of the feedback we received from the group
