Recognising that people are our community’s greatest asset, the Trust focuses on how we can inspire and empower, particularly the next generation, through education; provide community projects targeted at a wide range of age groups and differing needs; as well as providing a first-class football environment. Our work supports local, national, and international strategies alongside meeting local community needs across the North-East of Scotland. Direction from the World Health Organisation and United Nations gives us an international perspective on the importance of increasing physical activity, and tackling issues such as poverty, inequalities, and wellbeing. Through engagement with the Scottish Government, local authorities, Education Scotland, SportScotland and the Scottish FA, we have identified strategies which have shaped our work across two key areas: 1) Education and Positive Destinations and 2) Football, Health and Wellbeing.
