AFC and AFCCT support a number of charities who share our values and align to our programming.

  Aberdeen Football Club  is committed to being a football club at the heart of the community.  It recognises the important civic role that it plays both in Aberdeen and the wider northeast of Scotland. AFC Community Trust is the Club’s award-winning charitable partner and the primary focus of its charitable commitments, delivering innovative programmes throughout the northeast involving: Education and positive destinations Football, health and wellbeing AFC is supportive of organisations and charities that partner with AFCCT to enhance support for the region. The Club treats all requests for charitable support with the utmost importance. However, given the huge and ever-increasing amount of correspondence it receives, it is simply not possible to fulfil every request.

CHARITY REQUESTS

The Club’s official charity partner is AFC Community Trust.

Consideration is given to support local charities who work with AFCCT to deliver programming in the region. Currently, we work with two charities: CFINE and Northsound Cash for Kids. We select partner charities in June each year.  Any charity wishing to be considered should complete the application form

Due to the extent of our work with existing charity partners, and to ensure we are providing the best possible value and resource to our existing relationships, we are not currently in a position to enter into any further partnerships in season 23/24.

We are pleased to support other organisations within our local community. Please note we only have a limited number of signed items and complimentary tickets.  Please complete the form and we will come back to you.

Support for significant campaigns and/or the victims of a major national or international disaster are handled by the Club.

Due to the extent of our work with existing charity partners, and to ensure we are providing the best possible value and resource to our existing relationships, we are not currently in a position to enter into any further partnerships.

Due to the high level of interest, only those applications that are successful will be contacted. We are sorry that we are unable to assist with every request, but please be assured that all applications are very carefully and sympathetically considered.

Such is the demand for financial support from the Club that we are unable to offer direct financial assistance or sponsorship.

The Club receives a high volume of requests of this nature and for this reason, we are unable to accept items that are sent to us to be signed.

Due to the overwhelming volume of requests that we receive of this nature we are restricted to the amount of promotion we can provide on social media.  We will consider charities whose purposes align to the aims of AFCCT and the values of AFC. Any spare equipment that we may have is used by AFCCT within our charitable and community projects.
