The highly popular Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) Youth Ambassador programme returns on Wednesday 16th September to Pittodrie.

Youth Ambassadors (YA) is for 14 to 17 year olds, who are wanting to develop and improve on life skills, such as communication, confidence, CV and interview skills. The sessions are delivered by trained AFCCT members who work across pillars such as Education, Health & Wellbeing, Football and Operations.

YA is a two-year programme where you will complete different modules and receive up to 20 certificates, which can help with college, university or job interviews.

In year 1 you must complete 30 hours of volunteering. In year 2 you must complete 60 hours of volunteering. This is done by volunteering at a variety of programmes offered by AFCCT.

Areas of volunteering can include AFCCT football coaching, Health & Wellbeing or Education.

The YA sessions will take place once a month on a Wednesday night from 6:30pm till 8pm at Pittodrie Stadium.
