20 people of all ages donned their kilts yesterday in honour of The Kiltwalk, raising over £3,000 for Aberdeen FC Community Trust.
The Kiltwalks are a series of unique walking events in Scotland that acts as a powerful fundraising mechanism. Aberdeen's walk was tailored to suit all ages and ability levels offering three walking distances of 26 miles, 15 miles and 8 miles.
The walk started off at Duthie Park, with alternative starting points from Drumoak and King George V Park in Banchory, finishing of at Potarch where the celebrations began.
Fundraising and Business Development Co-ordinator Debra Christie said "We would like to thank everyone who participated for their efforts and the tremendous amount of money they have managed to raise for the Trust."
