Recently AFCCT’s ‘Get Outdoors’ Health Walk group had some very special visitors. The Timber Kinder Garden Nursery came to say hello to the group and to sing them some new songs they had learnt.
Around 20 over 65 year olds attend the weekly Health Walks at Pittodrie which is ran to improve physical and social well-being. The group really enjoyed the intergenerational aspect of the session and unsurprisingly were happy to sing along and encourage our young guests. One participant said “It was a surprise seeing the kids here, I never knew. They were adorable and I loved singing along with them. The ‘Get Outdoors’ programme is amazing and the guys are full of surprises.” AFCCT would like to thank the Timber Kinder Garden Nursery for coming along and entertaining the group.
