Katoni Engineering Extends Support of Aberdeen FC Community Trust
Katoni Engineering have renewed their commitment to the Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) for another year, continuing to support AFCCT as their ‘Charity of the Year.’
Throughout 2024, staff from Katoni Engineering undertook internal fundraising events which raised over £10,000 in essential funds for AFCCT including the Katoni Golf Day and client dinners.
Katoni staff also visited AFCCT Health and Wellbeing initiative, the Community Hub and Health Walks, where they got a chance to see the impact of AFCCT’s work in the community.
Katoni Engineering CEO, James Bream, also took time out to join AFCCT’s Business Development and Partnership Manager, Duncan Peter on the AFCCT Show on SHMU radio, to discuss the partnership and raise awareness around the work that AFCCT carry-out in the local community with the help of Katoni Engineering.
The firm also held a ‘Family Fun Day’ at Aberdeen FC’s training ground, Cormack Park, where all staff and family were invited to enjoy a summer’s day out. Katoni Engineering’s effort has been fantastic and appreciated by everyone at AFCCT.
Katoni Engineering is a specialist consulting engineering procurement and construction company (EPC). Katoni has clients as diverse as Regulatory Bodies, major UKCS operators and utility companies. Specialising in the Energy sector the company focuses on solutions which are greener, safer and more efficient and provide support across the entire project lifecycle from concept to execution.
James Bream, CEO commented: “We’re honoured to be continuing our support of Aberdeen FC Community Trust for another year. The organisation delivers activity locally which we believe is important, and for areas which we care about at Katoni. Supporting local economies and those who may not have the fortune, for a number of reasons, that we do is part of The Katoni Way.
For me personally, as a Dons fan, it’s brilliant to back something that supports the next generation too. We’re based here in Aberdeen – this will always be home, regardless of the international shoes we’re growing into – so being part of something that gives back locally is just part of our DNA.”
Duncan Peter, Business Development and Partnerships Manager said:
“Having Katoni back on board for another year is a fantastic boost to our efforts to continue providing support and opportunity in the North-East, said Business Development and Partnership Manager for AFCCT, Duncan Peter.
We had such a varied engagement with them last year, including a really well received family fun day at Cormack Park, that we look forward to seeing what else we can do together during 2025!”
