Aberdeen FC Community Trust is delighted to have won the Special Success Award at the Aberdeen City Council’s Children and Young People’s Service Awards 2017 ceremony last week.

AFCCT worked in partnership with Aberdeen City Council communities team to deliver a programme at Bramble Brae primary school.

The team worked with over 50 young people of all primary school ages, providing free multi sports activities, arts & crafts and also a healthy lunch.

Dean McBain, Community Projects Officer with AFCCT said, “We are delighted to have worked in partnership with Aberdeen City Council communities team during the summer to run such an impactful programme at Bramble Brae Primary School.

“Our coaches and volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the 7 weeks of the summer holidays to make sure the school pupils had a summer they will never forget!”
