To celebrate the ongoing success of Aberdeen FC’s partner charity, Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT), all Dons supporters are being encouraged to turn out for our match with Motherwell at Pittodrie on Saturday 4th February, which has been designated as this season’s AFCCT Day!
In a bid to engage with community groups, schools, sports teams and AFCCT participants, 500 free tickets have been distributed by AFCCT staff throughout the North-East.
In addition to AFCCT volunteers and local partner organisations, we look forward to welcoming recipients from all of these schools this weekend:

On the day and throughout the week of the match AFCCT will enjoy an increased profile throughout with various activities taking place to spread the community spirit and feel-good factor generated by our partner charity.

Aberdeen FC Community Trust was established as the official partner charity of AFC in March 2014, “To provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better” throughout the North East. The latest impact report underlines positive impact of Aberdeen FC Community Trust’s work in education, mental wellbeing, health, and social interaction. A total of 4,208 participants from 17 primaries and seven secondaries engaged with AFCCT over the past year. Meanwhile, the Trust’s health and wellbeing programmes attracted 4,160 participations in 2021-22, of which 42 participants are living with dementia. The Trust has grown from a staff of just eight to a team of 35 employees and 25 session workers, as well as 33 volunteers, who provided a total of 2,300 hours of support last year.
